o my, it's been a long time since I've xanga'd. Well since then, there was homecoming...but lets not talk about that. Well,if we must, this year I had an o.k time. The actual dance sucked because well... the vibe just wasn't right. The lights were on the entire night and half of the student body waited in line most of the time to take pictures. After the dance I had a great time, but lets not talk about that ( I try to keep my sight PG-13..jk). So,this weekend is the play. I should be at the cast party right now. But instead I'm blowing my nose and taking " Maximum strength Tylenol Flu" every six hours. So for the past three days I've been watching TV and reading my sojourn books. I haven't left my house in three days!!!! I think I'm going to go crazy!!! So with me being sick, I just thought it would be right to tell a story about our good friend Ymmas getting sick.
So...When Ymmas was about 8 her father was running the annual Monterey Marathon. The Marathon route follows a dirt road, a curvy, curvy road. What happens in the Marathon is: the runners line up and they start running, and then about twenty minutes later the runner's friends and/or family drive about a mile behind the last runner, so that they can pick them up at the finish line. (Because there is only that one road that can take the cars to the finish line...).When the race is over the drivers pick up the runners at the finish line.(did that make any sense? If it didn't I'm sorry ask me at school to explain.) So anyhow... here's the scene. Ymmas, Ymmas' sister, and ymmas'mom are all in the car waiting in the traffic, on the winding road, in the hot sun, and the winding road, the winding road...did I mention the winding road? So Ymmas is felling a little car sick... "Mom I feel sick." said Ymmas. "Here Ymmas have a watermelon jolly rancher,it will make you feel better" said the mother. Now what Ymmas'mother didn't realize was that Ymmas really didn't feel good. So whenever Ymmas whined about not feeling good, her mom would give her another watermelon jolly rancher. Ymmas finished off three packs of jolly ranchers that day, but that wouldn't be the end of the jolly ranchers... To Find out what happens read next week!!
